I did some more work with #homeassistant integrating #anpr into the new driveway camera, mostly for fun.

The Lawnmaster robots are slowly coming back to reliability but taking up a bit of time each day tweaking..

Final plan for tomorrow is more wind turbine work then #soapbox in #bd1 supporting Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

@onepict out of curiosity, downloaded a "cloud #ANPR " app to my mobile (its linked to a web portal (based in EU with and claiming full GDPR compliance) which I was able to sign up by saying I was running a parking garage and hand car wash). Tested it out in the yard, in darkness with my own car and some fleet cars. Near 100% hits on the registration marks (after shining an LED torch on the cars), app also works with MP4 videos snagged from YouTube (like Nürburgring)

@karelbrits @dM3 Er rijden inderdaad nog te veel piraten rond... Men pleit voor handhaving, hopelijk zonder #ANPR want die staan er al en helpen niet, echte patrouilles halen die piraten er wel uit. Maar voer het rijbewijs met punten dan voor alle vervoersmiddelen in: auto, fiets, step, etc. Er zitten overal piraten :/

Is anyone doing research on the impact of (bad) implementation of #ANPR cameras on road safety? #surveillance

Ook Koudebeke heeft het moeilijk gehad toen de eindfactuur kwam. Maar gelukkig hebben we dankzij het aanpassen van zone 50 naar zone 30 aan de Kerkstraat heel wat fondsen kunnen werven.
Voor de volgende afrekeningen gaan we meer met GAS-boetes doen, een benamingstoeval die we niet kunnen laten liggen.
Tips voor addities in het gemeentereglement zijn altijd welkom!

#ANPR cameras will only further surveillance state. Vehicles will still get lost, remain unfound. Haven't theives changed number plates since time immemorial?
