In the capitalistic system you are not meant to feel valuable, you are not meant to be outstanding as a person. People don't feel that they are unique, so it is hard for people to give and receive unconditionally.

@athenamedia @meabhp This is the very thing at the nub of it. Many of us #anticapatalist people have been shouting about this for decades, too. And what was predicted is playing out. I'm grateful to all the people who the mainstream didn't want at their parties, who are keeping the lights on, but sure wasn't it ever thus.
