Here's part of backyard that I'm slowly #rewilding & trying to convert into #suburban #FoodForest 👩🌾 This wildflowers field is abuzz with many different types of pollinators. Birds love having more seeds to eat & tall soft grasses to hide in. This is a longterm project fueled by love of #nature & #biodiversity & also by local #FoodSecurity concerns.

Barefoot on what used to be all useless lawn grass in front yard. I've been sowing native plants & other alternative cover crops in both front & back yards. There's now much more pollinator attracting plants in both yards. Still works in progress as it's a multi yrs #rewilding project that includes natural soil remediation too. Many more pollinators are visiting & that makes me feel really good 🐝🐞🦋🕷🐜
