Today I learned some hilarious news, and since I can't add it to my honorable mentions on Wikipedia I'll mention it here lol.The / / group (GAG) got mad at me, again!

A quick recap, a few months ago I was banned from all vaguely queer-related articles for being biased against hate groups and bigots, despite a year of agreements that my articles and behavior on them were fine (including GAG's article for that matter)... But anyways, GAG got annoyed when I first wrote their article and never really let it go. Most recent example, a few weeks ago, they complained about me and the article.

Now, this was superficially useless, ranting about someone who's not allowed to edit the article and has no say in it at this point. But vandals took their complaints to heart and tried to edit the article. This led to a formal discussion, what we call on Wikipedia a request for comment, on whether it should be called far-right and anti-lgbt. The answer, about 20 to 2, was that it is obviously far right and anti-lgbt. Remember, I had no say in that after writing it, the editing community just overwhelmingly agreed with me that it was a good summary of what reliable sources said about them (as it has every other time this has been brought up).

They apparently didn't take this well, since they just complained again! Not just asking, demanding, their article be taken down on their website. I learned since editors identified it as a source of vandalism.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Gay

radar.gaysagainstgroomers.com/

They can't bother to spell my username right, when it's right there lol, but that's hardly the only ridiculous error they've got. They say I wrote an article full of lies and it was locked - I wrote an article full of factual statements, consensus of uninvolved editors has always agreed, and it was locked to prevent their fans rewriting the page as PR for them. They are free to provide reliable sources and ask for changes based on them on the article talk page - any reasonable requests for edits to the article will be met.

Going through their points:
1) "we're not far-right/anti-lgbt" - reliable sources and a recent discussions would beg to differ. Doesn't exactly help how they rant about how trans kids don't exist and teaching kids trans exist is grooming based on pseudoscience... A quote, ""Gender-affirming care" for minors must be outlawed and criminalized on a federal level" - I'm one of those scary trannies who started hormones as a minor btw, it's great, only wish I coulda done it sooner, bodily autonomy for the win!
2) "GLAAD says we call people who disagree pedophiles" - Not exactly stunning their defence is "they said that, but actually they're the ones going after children"...
3) "GAG is promoted only by the right wing" - their defense was laughably bad: "yes, but it's not our fault" LMAO
4) "we're working towards federally banning trans care for minors" - they just proudly admit to this. Proudly bragging about trying to strip the rights of a minority group, right....
5) "we have trucks with transphobic slogans" - just admitting to it. I've no clue why so far half of their points are just agreeing...
6) "we supported an Arizona bill that supports forced outing of trans kids to parents" - once again, just proudly admits to it...
7) "Alejandra Caraballo says we spread groomer libel" - A) she did, B) their defense is they're a nonprofit
8-11) Complaints about Imara Jones hypothesizing they're funded by the heritage foundation. They spend 4 sections devoted to complaining and mocking a black trans woman who's done more more for the queer community than GAG ever has, who they call a "Child mutilation and gay conversion therapy advocate". Transmisogynoir much?

So, apart from listing a bunch of supposedly false accusations they then agree with wholeheartedly, they leave a final conclusion. It both demands Wikipedia serve as their PR and take down an article full of plain factual statements, and also threatens me: "We also invite "TransAnarchist" to reach out and let us know what city they live in so we can drive our Gay truck around and ruin their day. Unlike the pronoun supremacists, we don't get easily offended over everything." First off, feel free to misgender me if you care so much for some reason weirdo. It's the campaigning against bodily autonomy I object to more.

It's kinda stupid they ask for my city, it's on my userpage they screenshotted lol. I'm a born and raised New Yorker! And my solemn New York bitch guarantee? They're free to drive their little van around the village all they want, I'm not gonna waste any effort trying to convince them not to or do anything about it because it'll be funny if they do! It's a big city, and I'm probably not gonna run into them. While they waste their time trying to prove a point, they'll learn in New York we remember stonewall and the black and brown trans women who've fought with everything for rights for all. We've still got many holding the torch. The village, which they talked about driving around, is still the home of many trans people, kids and adults, and trans orgs, many radical and devoted to ending police violence and ensuring trans people have their needs met. So please, please, drive your van through the village! See what happens lol. Maybe the reality check of boos and jeers as you drive around might wake y'all up to how far removed you are from the queer community.

And repeated ad-hominems are not gonna change the Wikipedia article. It's reliably sourced, neutral, and factual - hell in your list of accusations you admitted to most. We are an enclyopedia, not a PR campaign. We don't base things on the opinions of editors but what reliable sources say, be that descriptions or what happened where or who you work with and generally what you're notable for. That's why every Wikipedia article has a full list of references. Don't believe Wikipedia? Check those.

I haven't mentioned my work on in a minute, but now seems like a good time. I'll get into why later. I've mostly been busy with things relating to housing rights in New York. Lots of categorization work. Getting ready to start a housing rights in NY task force. I also cleaned up the article! Been chilling away from trans topics for a minute.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York

But, response-worthy, , the / group, has once again publicly gotten mad about me! I learned because their fans are insulting me in the article history. I can't mention this on Wikipedia, since god forbid I publicly acknowledge the harassment I receive from these groups or defend myself, but I can mention it here lol. It's honestly kinda sad, they've been publicly complaining about the article for months, but reliable sources and our NPOV and FRINGE policies won't let them define the narrative the way they want. My work there wasn't even really criticized in my ban case, the one admin who said it might have NPOV issues praised my ability to respond to them!

Remember, I was banned from all topics vaguely related to queer people for being biased towards hate groups, even though my articles have almost all had explicit consensuses they aren't biased at all - And funny enough, before and even now months after my ban, hate groups have complained their articles are biased, and editors won't change them. Schrodinger's bias, so apparent I need a ban, so non-existent articles that I wrote are largely stable.

's first-in-the-nation law designed to place strict limits on is unconstitutional, a federal judge says. The law is both "unconstitutionally vague and substantially overbroad" and encouraged "discriminatory enforcement," according to the ruling late Friday by U.S. District Judge Thomas Parker, who was appointed by former President Donald Trump.

You'd think somebody old enough to remember the battle over desegregation wouldn't use this kind of language about another minority group.
