#NaNoWriMo is nearly over, and not a day too soon! I’ve seen far too many writers lately fretting about failing to meet their goals 😳. I like to see writing as a creative, joyful process—not a mad rush to put pixels on screen. So I’m pleased to announce, in celebration of #antiNaNoWriMo, I’ve DECREASED my current WIP word count by 892 words! 😀

I’ve already posted that I’m not a fan of #NaNoWriMo because of the stress of failing to meet goals, and how it can turn what should be a joyful, creative experience into a trap for self-doubt. Mind you, I have anxiety issues, so there’s that 😬. But, in the spirit of abandonment and wild chaos, I want to tell you that I “unwrote” 371 words today!
