Why do you hate bringing politics to Mastodon?

"Politics" comes from "polis" which literally means "a community under a constitution."

What is Mastodon, if not a community? And why wouldn't we consistently discuss the things which impact all of us?

Antipolitics is an example of a not-well-hidden conservative bias. Because if someone's privileged enough that politics doesn't have a direct, daily impact on their life, they're part of the status quo and part of the problem!
