This is the tractor I basically learned to drive on down in NJ when i was a kid. We used it for field work, mowing, plowing, hauling. It stayed in the barn there until a year ago when I bought it and brought it up to Boston. Now it's getting a complete engine rebuild and mechanical overhaul. New rings, sleeves, and valves, new exhaust manifold, new rear axle seals. She'll be back to work in no time.

Aaaand off to the shop. I've asked the fellow to do a full mechanical check and repair - this isn't giong to be a show piece, but I want it safe and ready to go back to work. The repair costs definitely will be higher than it's value, but that's not the point. This is a 74 year old tractor that will be going back on the job soon. That's worth it.
