Managing the firehouse is probably necessary for many, but I suspect reaching for passive black box algorithms is a tad lazy and not consistent with the admirable ethos here of being “anti-viral” (#AntiviralDesign) and encouraging real social engagement.

Anything that encourages active curation over passive consumption and is customisable (not just opt-in) is preferable IMO
