If this is the 2018 film, this came before #InfinityWar. It probably isn't though.

This is a good question. Most people I know don't talk tons about movies and shows, nor do most people on the #Fediverse, so typically I will either avoid #YouTube and #Instagram before the hype dies down, or just go ahead and watch it if the hype is extremely prevalent (part of why I watched #HBO's #Succession as it aired).

Продолжение франшизы про "Мстителей". Теперь для детей.

Что-то в последние месяцы сплошняком фильмы для детей выходят. Но мне кажется, что это потом их называют "детскими", а на самом деле они просто скучные и плоские.

Скучнейший фильм. Я всё понимаю, но история имеет значение. А тут сценарист откровенно схалтурил, "злой захватчик захватил весь-весь микромир, украл всю семью Ант-мена перед тем, как выйти с полчищами своей армии, и захватить целиком Землю, а потом и всю Вселенную".

IMDb: 6.1. Спецэффекты спасают. Вот только ради них и смотрел. Второй раз смотреть не тянет. Подросткам заходит, "девочка 14 лет спасает мир, и борется за права бездомных со злыми полицаями".

Рекомендую любителям жанра. "Ба, знакомые всё лица".
Если вы к фантастике относитесь прохладно, то насильно заставлять себя не надо. Фильм явно не входит в сотню лучших, даже по результатам одного нынешнего года.

#Shazam! #FuryOfTheGods, much like #AntManAndTheWasp: #Quantumania, is not a good movie, but still entertaining.

It does have what may be—given the context, delivery, and editing—the best movie line of all time:

"Taste the rainbow, mother..."

the ending with all the Kang's is creepy.

also yay Loki S2! one of my more favourable Disney+ Marvel series.

The casting of Cassie Lang is ok ish. Side characters didn't really add to the quantum realm though.

The return of yellowjacket was cool tho :)

Ant-Man Quantumania (2023)

Finally watched it after seeing all the bad reviews. Not gonna lie, the CGI was very off-putting.

At the same time, Majors was amazing as Kang, which is quite unfortunate for Marvel.

Still better than Love and Thunder though....

I was able to watch Antman at an early show and avoid the crowds. I love seeing movies in almost empty theaters.
