I started with going deep on #WalterReisch (set off by his co-write, with #BillyWilder, on #Ninotchka) and that led me #WilliForst, first as actor then director and producer, then #GezavonBolvary and the whole #ViennaFilms genre made in Germany beginning in the silent 1920's and continuing through WWII, with the consent of the #ThirdReich. #Lubitsch is here as is #ZoltanKorda and #AntonWalbrook, all in German. Have any of you #filmnerds been this way? Any tips?

Looking at some film magazines from Nazi Germany. In February 1936 Adolf Wolhbrück was still on the cover of Filmwelt. He left Germany later that year and emigrated to Britain where he continued his acting career (as Anton Walbrook). #Film #AntonWalbrook #NaziGermany
