@tb Uhhh but maybe IT IS Twitter (and other networks like it) since it brings out the worst in people, aka fan culture and algorithms that lead to piling.
There will always be hordes of fanatics and irrationally passionate people out there. But to the degree that their voices make it hell for any criticism really depends on the social environment and social media.
