Half a century after allegedly being kidnapped as a baby, a woman has been reunited with her family. Melissa #Highsmith was 21 months old in 1971 when her mother, Alta #Apantenco, hired a babysitter who allegedly took her from their home in Fort Worth, #Texas. Her family reported her missing to police and continued to search for her for 51 years. Following a tipoff they used the results of a #DNA test to confirm her identity and were reunited with her on Saturday.

Melissa #Highsmith war 1971 21 Monate alt, als ihre Mutter, Alta #Apantenco, einen Babysitter einstellte, der sie angeblich aus ihrem Haus in Fort Worth, #Texas, entführte. Ihre Familie meldete sie bei der Polizei als vermisst und suchte 51 Jahre lang weiter nach ihr. Anhand eines #DNA-Tests konnte ihre Identität bestätigt werden.
