@alfredo_liberal I quit for about 3 months, then stress and waiting to get Mastodon approval (as well as nothing better to do with my time) drew me back. Now that I'm here I'm trying to pull away again. #ApartheidClyde is making that a bit easier as he continues to break shit.

I usually stress over my first post when I show up someplace new.

But honestly I have enough stress right now, so instead I'm just gonna babble for a minute to announce my presence...then participate as appropriate. Sounds good? Good.

I enjoy weed and intelligent conversation, but because I also have a fair amount of social anxiety don't expect conversations to run long. I read a lot more than I reply. As my bio says, I bitch a lot. Like everyone else, I'm not thrilled with the direction that the US is headed and it sure feels like 99% of our Government is actively working against us - ALL of us.

Self-diagnosed autistic, but it seems to fit so until I find something that fits better, I'll keep it.

I'm ignorant of a lot, but I'm not stupid. I'm usually pretty good about announcing the former and fighting to prove the latter. It's an imperfect system for an imperfect lump of flesh, I suppose.

I like the ability to post more than two sentences. Hopefully I can find enough people to follow to keep my interest here; I really don't want to feed the bird app or #ApartheidClyde.

I'm currently in France for another month looking for a house to move my family to. It may not be "better" than the states, but it's a fuck of a lot cheaper.
