Not seeing much talk about #apico on this site yet. It's so addictive and relaxing! Beekeeping, botany and butterflies, with bee puns everywhere. What's not to love 🐝

I've played 10 hours and have two save games already, each around 15% completion 🤓

No bee-reeding this turn. Rearranging the layout to keep the bee species' apart with each having an apiary, couple of hives and some storage space.

If you want an engaging, peaceful #VideoGame, I highly recommend #Apico. It’s a delightful beekeeping game. If you want to go to bed before 3am, I recommend not starting Apico at 9:30 pm. It’s been ages since I got so sucked into a game I let myself play it late, and therefore ages since I found myself playing games in the wee hours.

On a much brighter note to my previous thread: my Christmas day has been just my partner and I. We had a delicious home cooked dinner and watched Clue (1985) together; earlier we played our LOTRO duo too.

And I'm off to play more gifts now (one of which is #APICO I am so giddy with it)

I now have butterfly hotels and nurseries in #Apico. I am living my best virtual life, bringing all these lovely insects back to "thriving" status. Or, at least, I'm trying!

I finally managed to breed a single Vibrant Bee through hybridization. Now, I'm trying to get a second one so that I can start actually breeding and rehabilitation them.

It's official. #Apico is my new #videogames addiction.

Once you get going, you fall into this wonderful gameplay loop of tending to your hives and keeping production going. In between that, you're watching the bees and trying to find the best way to create new species through hybridization.

I was so tickled when I created/discovered my first new species!

I'm also now toying with planting different flowers near certain hives to create bees with +stats.

Just tried the #Apico demo. I'm pulling the trigger on this one! I mean... it's a game about beekeeping! I can find bees and breed them. I want a whole island full of hives with my precious, bee buddies to keep me company!
