Und entwickelt/testet Euren Kram auf Geräten > 10 Jahre. Dann erst merkt ihr, ob die #ui und die #performance OK sind.
Ich bekomme bei meinen Apps, die alle noch unter Android 4.4 laufen können (!), immer noch viele Rückmeldungen unter diesen Versionen.
Das alles hat mit Nachhaltigkeit zu tun.

Ich lösche immer den Cache vom mein phone mit z.b #SDMaid ...ebenso ist es so eingestellt das die heruntergeladene #apk nach einer gewissen zeit in fdroid automatisch gelöscht wird....aber 3GB an daten? Wozu? Woher? Warum?

Package size is an issue because unnecessarily large packages are a problem on legacy devices (with less storage) and therefore this has a negative, environmental impact.

i had the same issue with standard installation over PLAY, but
i think you can easily install fdroid over #APK-file (downloadable) then you install in fdroid the apps you want
