Hatte mir beim letzten Sale auf Steam "A Plague Tale: Innocence" gegönnt.
Gestern habe ich das Spiel nach etwa 14 Stunden Spielzeit beendet.
Eine gute Story mit angemessen schweren Schleich-/Kampf-Elementen.
An zwei Stellen oder so gab es zwei mögliche Wege. Gern hätte ich beide erkundet, weil ich allerdings den Weg wählte, der die Geschichte vorantrieb, konnte ich nicht wieder zurück, um die andere Gegend noch zu inspizieren. Das war ein bisschen schade, aber nicht schlimm; Entscheidungen haben Konsequenzen.
Klare Empfehlung meinerseits.

I've played a variety of games on PC. Most recently & most frequently, free, point & click puzzle & hidden object games whilst I watch/listen to my favourite streamers, YTers, podcasts etc. I've never really considered myself a gamer in any serious fashion, though I've always been gamer adjacent. & I've always appreciated gaming as an art form capable of telling compelling stories & interesting narratives.

This last week I've felt the need to revisit gaming. A few days ago I played through 'Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons' (2013) which is very sweet, very easy, & helped me pick up a controller again after years. I wanted a similar experience so I've got 'A Plague Tale: Innocence' (2019) ready to go next.

I struggle with ganglion cysts & carpal tunnel syndrome, & a complete inability to separate my hands (arms, legs, everything) from my viewing. I swerve, I drive a controller, jump, kick, stand up, I have been known to kick seats in front of me at dance performances and get cramps in my feet from pointing my toes. I am trying to teach myself to separate my body in this way because I always end up in intense pain. Slower, less frantic gameplay seems to be the only thing I can do this with for any length of time.

Does anyone else have physical issues with gaming? How do you / did you overcome that? Any suggestions for similar games to 'Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons'?

Just finished chapter X of A Plague Tale: Innocence! I really like this game. The ambiance, the sound design, etc. are all very thrilling.
And it's really beautiful! Sometimes I spend entire minutes in the photo mode just to get the screenshot just right. :D

I'm two chapters in A Plague Tale: Innocence so far, but I already love it! Amicia is an awesome protagonist.
The game really is beautiful, and I'm having a lot of fun with the Photo mode!

I started playing A Plague Tale: Innocence and it seems great, but I got stuck at a boss fight because those make me super nervous and I just panic. I'm sad now because I want to continue, but I don't know how.

Finally finished #APlagueTaleInnocence on #PS5, I may have dragged that out a few days longer than necessary. An enjoyable game of a brother and sister fighting for survival in a dark period of history set in #France. A pleasant change of game dynamic focusing on stealth and a simple slingshot 🎮🏆
