So, after some chats within our community, following the discussions going on in the Fediverse over the last couple of weeks, and reports so far about how it's being moderated, I've decided we will not federate with Threads for the time being and have preemptively suspended the domain.

I recognise there are arguments for and against, but at this point, I would rather focus our energies on building a safe purple space for BTS ARMY and Kpop fans.

Testing on #Metatext with another post and I have our custom #apobangpo emoji’s so that’s immediately an improvement :bts_kore: :bts_chimmy: I can link my posts, too. But can’t find GIF’s. I suppose I should research how to save GIFS in a library #FediArmy

But should it be #BTS for everything? Maybe it should be #Apobangpo or #BTSMagazine for everything and then tags as appropriate? I don't know - just initial thoughts in the interests of not making tags less useful more broadly?
