It's currently First Minister questions and already the Tories are on their feet and attempting to conflate trans people with sex offenders. It's pathetic and, frankly, vile

And then the Tories go on to claim that trans people being recognised as ourselves is somehow an undefined threat to women and children. Nothing new, of course. "Won't somebody think of the women and children?!?!" is the oldest line in every bigot's handbook, including my older votes against enacting legislation that makes it illegal to discriminate against somebody because of their race or ethnicity

Good morning! Welcome to the day that the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill will pass through Parliament

I won't be able to cover in full today as I'm going to spend some much needed time with my partner, but will pop in every so often to see how things go

However, I can confidently predict that the Tories and SNP rebels will whine about the Bill 'being rushed through' despite debating Stage 3 amendments for over 20 hours and every speaker having as long as they need to speak, and how passing this will exterminate all women everywhere and across all time
