Well the Presonus Quantum 4848 is removed from the rack and awaiting its final disconnection from my system. The Apogee Symphony arrived at the L&M Ontario depot from California a couple of days ago, so it should be here soon. Getting excited now.

The BC Hydro bill came in yesterday & it’s ****ing outrageous. Powered down last night, and lo & behold, the Quantum isn’t working when I started up today. Fortunately the Apogee Symphony has just shipped from Ontario.

It sees the interface & all the metering is working properly. But now the interface isn’t working properly, there’s no signal getting to the mixer. I’m not going to mince words here, this thing is a piece of s*%t. Definitely heading into Long & McQuade today and ordering the Apogee Symphony.

Yay! So I now have a functioning 32 channel recording studio. Will try to get to Long & McQuade tomorrow and order the Apogee Symphony. And buy the Fender Stratocaster.

About 50% of the way through my studio reorganization now. The mixer is totally tested & fully operational, including every connected cable. Now working through all the outboard gear & cables, starting with my mics.

L'association L'Apogée organise sa première soirée depuis un sacré moment le samedi 3 juin à Sizun dans le cadre idyllique de la ferme de Quelennec.
Édition l'Apogée: Phoenix rises (le coude).
On avait envie de se retrouver pour une petite édition conviviale avec des non jongleurs, des jongleurs, des musiciens, des enfants, un bar et de la bonne humeur ! Quoi d'ot' dirait george clown hey.
