Even #apoliticalness is a political statement, and it can only mean two things:

1. "A honest opinion would endanger me and/or my beloved ones." (i.e. Iran, KSA, "P.R." China, Russia, ...)

or

2. "I'm an asshole with unlikeable shit takes but too cowardly to admit it because I'd face accountability and consequences then!" (All those consequence-free "FreezePeach" fans)...

Either it's a public admission one's fearing for their life,

OR

One's a comfy coward and does believe that bootlicking facists will benefit them longterm.

These are the only valid options in that regard.

Unless one literally lives in a tyrannical dictatorship where free speech is punished wirh forced disappearance, torture and murder (North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Turkey, "P.R." China) "#apoliticalness" is at best a sign of #cowardice and #lazyness if not consent to violent tyranny, unless one literally had to disconnect for mental health reasons due to one's existance being declared debatable (i.e. as for neurodivergent, trans* and nonbinary people)...

No matter what (marginalized) group is being opressed.

Instead of claiming to be "#apolitical" I'd expect people to be honest and confess that they don't give a f**k because they aren't being affected...
But that would require them to be honest and willing to accept the foreseeable and justified consequences of being an egoistic & antisocial asshole.
