Day 8 (and nearly late!) #Apollo #ApolloAday #Spacephotography
21-29 Aug 1965
Gemini V
The first week long mission in space! These are the Kevir Salt Flats in Iran. Can anyone else see a big face looking to the right or is it just me?

Day 7 #ApolloAday #Apollo
3-7 June 1965
Gemini IV
The "Eye of Africa" in Mauritania. Before this picture was taken the crew complained they'd been too busy to look outside much!
Day 6 #Apollo #ApolloAday
3-7 June 1965
Gemini IV
Ed White in the capsule following his EVA. He said coming in from the EVA was the saddest day of his life!
Day 5 #Apollo #ApolloAday
3-7 June 1965
Gemini IV
These photos will get more linked together as we go through. On the same spacewalk as yesterday's pic, Ed White was able to take a photo of the outside of Gemini IV. The 1st chance to assess the effects of launch on a craft
Day 4 #Apollo #ApolloAday
3-7 June 1965
Gemini IV
Ed White complete as 23min EVA. This is the first photo of a person outside a space vehicle in space.
Of course Alexei Leonov performed the worlds first spacewalk 11 weeks earlier
I love this picture!
Day 2 #ApolloAday #Apollo
Feb 20 1962
Mercury-Atlas 6. John Glenn and NASA's first orbital manned mission.
The first sunrise/sunset photograph from space. The white smudgy bit is Glenn's reflection I think!
Alan Shepherds first flight in space! The disc in the top right is the mission timer
Mission Badges and Pre-Apollo information (The Gemini Programme)
I got Apollo Remastered for Christmas and finally I have carved out some time to look at it. The pictures are absolutely beautiful.
Anyway my plan is to share one picture with you each day. To kick off, here's the first few pages which are great in my opinion!
