On this Super Bowl Sunday, I’m reminded that I was taught that Satan created Monday Night Football specifically to counter Family Home Evening. WTF?!
1 - MNF became a regular thing in September 1970, but was piloted as early as 1964.
2- It was announced that FHE would be held on Mondays during General Conference October 1970. They could have picked any other day to counter “Satan” but in the end, it was all about compliance.
