Oftentimes, we don’t realize that it only takes one seed to produce a tree, which will bear multiple pieces of fruit.⁠

The Bible often mentions the importance of being united, both with God and others in fellowship.

Fellowship is a word used multiple times within the Scriptures, defined as: association, community, communion, joint participation.

Any kind of discourse that would separate people in the faith is not from God.

He has given us the ability and desire to have genuine and meaningful connections with one another. We should strive for fellowship with each other in the body of Christ.

Jesus came to open the veil (Hebrews 10:20) and teach the deeper (spiritual meaning) of the Law.Without the right interpretation (righteousness) of the Word of God, we remain in debt (sin) and cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

We read how Jesus came to reveal the truth through the Spirit of the Law of God, because He is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). We can see that the truth is the right understanding of the Word of God and ignorance (of the right understanding) of the Word of God is true sin. Therefore, knowing the deeper meaning of Scripture is what sets us free from sin and thus, we are no longer in debt to Satan.

We’ve all seen a rainbow with its brilliant colors of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet shining in the sky after a rainstorm.

In Genesis, after God flooded the earth, He set a rainbow in the clouds and told Noah it would be a sign of the covenant between Himself and the earth (Gen 9:11-17).

God’s wisdom is deep and as the Apostle Paul told the Church in Corinth, God’s wisdom is a mystery that has to be revealed (1Co 2:6-13).

Being in a covenant with God isn’t about just obeying a list of do’s and don’ts, it is what allows us to learn and grow in the wisdom of our Creator.

Psalm 104:24 “O LORD, how many and varied are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all; The earth is full of Your riches and Your creatures.”

How do we make God real for others? It’s not just by the words we teach, but also by our actions.

People can read the Bible or hear someone talk about God, but their lives never transform. Why?

We are the sign for others to see Him; but that can only happen if we have intimacy with the Lord and are willing to go through our death to self process, just as Paul said,

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;” (Gal 2:20).

Unless we look like God, the world will never see Him. God’s character and nature have to be revealed through us so others will desire to know Him and follow Him.

Matthew 13:16, "But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;"

Why is it that Jesus told the disciples they had hearing and sight, apart from everyone in Israel?

The people were not physically deaf or blind; in this Scripture, Jesus was speaking on a deeper level.

He is trying to make us aware that even though our physical eyes and ears may be working properly, our spiritual senses could be inactive.

We can be reading His word blindly, in a way that He did not intend but God wants to teach us the correct way.

Today we know our emotions and thinking comes from our mind, yet in Hebraic thought, the heart is also seen as the seat of our thoughts and emotions.

The physical heart doesn’t think, so how is it likened to a mind?

Often, intense experiences and emotions can be felt around the chest area like heartbreak, grief and even joy.

Many times in Scripture, the heart is mentioned metaphorically such as: “don’t harden your heart” (Heb 3:8).

The heart is considered the place of passion, so it makes sense that it is the very thing we are told to guard (Pro 4:23) and that it's the place God wants to write His Law (Jer 31:33-34).

What is your passion in life? That will show you if your heart is in alignment with God.
