And finally that #AppalachianBugbane #Actaea_rubifolia has an enthusiastic pollinator despite its lack of nectar — guess this bumblebee okay with only chowing down on pollen.

#AppalachianBugbane #Actaea_rubifolia growing in my front yard DESPITE one source claiming this species isn’t cultivated! Its environment did get far too sunny with the removal of a street tree so I’m considering transplanting — but hey, at least they still flower!
