For those that use #AppCode, and are being forced to use #Xcode, and miss with all your soul “Expand Selection" keybind, I've got some bloody great news for you.

I've just built a POC Xcode Extension that implements it, and it feels amazing.

I keep getting excited (and confused) when I see the #AppCode team update tickets I reported. I expect more improvements coming soon to Inline Function.

JetBrains quietly released an #AppCode dot release a week ago. Latest version is 2022.3.1. Update while you can.

I don't know how I will code without #AppCode. I use moves every single minute that #Xcode doesn't provide.

Sad to see that JetBrains is discontinuing AppCode.

AppCode isn't perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than Xcode and VSCode for Swift development.

Sad news that #JetBrains is sunsetting #AppCode. I started using AppCode a few months ago after becoming frustrated with how slow Xcode Swift autocompletion is when working with a larger project. The ViM support is much better than Xcode, with great autoformatting and support for the other languages I use in mobile projects - JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Swift is a complex language to parse and I guess it just isn’t worth the effort needed given that many iOS devs won’t consider a Java IDE.

I just installed #AppCode a month ago and now it's sunsetting. 🙃
