Moving in the direction of a more task & service oriented fedi. A paradigm of #AppFreeComputing as Chris Gebhardt of infocentral.org coined it. Beyond app-silo's. But that's just the technical side.

Overall we might #ReimagineSocial and get rid of the shallow notion of #social which corporate #SocialMedia engagement platforms have hammered into us. Then we get to a #Peopleverse.

So many misconceptions by how #Fediverse is mentioned in the media as Mastodon.

I saw another person tooting their Aha Erlebnis with an "Ooh, I see. #Mastodon isn't an app. It is a #SocialNetwork on the Fediverse. And #Pleroma is another social network".

Noooo, folks. We have one united social network here. It could be a tight-knit "social fabric" where many app types interoperate and app boundaries disappear. We could have #AppFreeComputing. We might have a #Peopleverse.

It's good that you formulate "flexible fedi project" and not "app".

I feel its very important in order to reach the full potential of the fediverse, to look beyond apps. As they are unnatural siloes that bundle a rather arbitrary set of features.

In your daily life you are not 'app-oriented' but task-oriented. Tasks and processes have a number of steps / activities.

Translated to fedi these activities are federated capabilities that can live everywhere. Let's do #AppFreeComputing.

The #Fediverse based on its open #SocialNetworking standards can be this multi-purpose decentralized networking environment, that supports us in our daily lives. A #peopleverse.

The interoperability and integrations that are possible give potential to finally go beyond apps into #AppFreeComputing.

I imagine functionality to be part of fedi, where I send an interesting discussion to e.g. a Knowledge Garden, where I tend to the information that is relevant to my interests.
