This is the 1st time I've seen mention of the Huawei #AppGallery

If you haven't followed the USA vs. Huawei news over the years, you might not know that Google cut ties with Huawei & the Google Play store isn't accessible to Huawei hardware (you might be able to hack Google Play Services onto Huawei devices - I'm unsure). In any case, it looks like #Huawei created its own #Android app store (I don't think its #HarmonyOS ships on its phones / tablets yet).

C'est pas mieux que celui de #google. Ca te demande d'installer leur services pour faire de l'espionnage de comportement et de la publicité intégrée.

C'est de plus fortement orienté pour être une machine à cash assez vile...

Aus #Privatsphäre-Sicht ist #AppGallery von #Huawei sicher nichts tolles. Aber es bietet eine große Chance, die #Android-Dominanz am Smartphone-Markt aufzubrechen - und damit vielle auch anderen, alternativen und datensparsamen & sichereren Betriebssystemen Chancen zu eröffnen.
