I've been entertaining the idea of making a new app icon and to create it (along with the alternatives) in a Mac app with SwiftUI. I can derive each from a given color so it’s a matter of choosing the ones I like.
Then I can just export them with the desired resolution.
I’m no designer but being able to do this with code is fun.

Here’s an app icon I made for a game about drawing electric circuit diagrams named “Circuit Mapper”. The entire thing was a college assignment. The icon does not represent the core gameplay in any significant manner, but I just wanted to try out making an electronic chip style icon 😅.

P.S. Writing image descriptions for icons is hard.
