Had a dream last night that I was celebrating my birthday at Applebee’s with people I didn’t recognize and one of them (a younger member of the group) happened to be a pup. Despite us having never met, he recognized that I knew he was signaling that he was a pup in certain regards and the dream from that point basically entailed trying to learn more about this mysterious pup.

In other words, I now handle pups (or try) in my sleep. Is that a flex?

Went to my local #Applebees to pick up a #DoorDash order. Lobby is closed due to not enough staffing. Many Maine residents just received $800 checks from our governor. It's a Friday night. But instead of paying a fair wage so they can stay open & earn some of that $800, they would rather just close their doors. Profitable decision. 🙄

I can't wait to watch more businesses fail because of pride & stubbornness. It makes me smile.

I'll bet if my local #Applebees paid wait staff more than the federal #minimumwage of $2.13 per hour, they wouldn't have this problem. At least it doesn't affect me. I'm thankful for that.
