32 years ago today on August 9, 1991, space got a tech-savvy upgrade as the first e-mail zoomed from the cosmos to Earth!
Using a #Mac Portable aboard Space Shuttle Atlantis, astronauts beamed down the message: "Hello Earth! Greetings from the STS-43 Crew. This is the first AppleLink from space. Having a GREAT time, wish you were here,...send cryo and RCS! Hasta la vista, baby,...we'll be back!"
Talk about crossing new frontiers!
