#idk exactly how this is relevant but I found out today that #DefLeppard #Hysteria was tanking outside of #UK until strippers in Florida (back in 1988 a different place than it is today)started requesting radio to play it so they could dance to it
Then it took off in #Canada which apparently had a big #culture for stripping & that’s how it became #1
Somehow this story #relevant to #Mastodon & the #success surely it will soon become🖤
