I'll be honest: The transition to having Apri around has been quite a challenge for me. Like, I didn't know that post-cat-adoption blues is a THING. And boy do I have it bad.
I play up to 2-3 hours a day with her, and even that's not enough. And then there's the random play bites and ambushes, which I know...

Bizzarely, #Apricat was only interested in the cat tree after I placed it next to this dingy corner with a little window overlooking the airwell.
Never mind that it was previously located next to a picturesque location by the balcony.
Cats are weird.

So one of the things I do with #Apricat is to toss her kibble around and make her chase them.
I do it at least 20 times and she still has energy to spare.

#Apricat after spending most of her life on the streets, inhales her food. She could finish her meal in 20 seconds. Fortunately, she hasn't ended up puking yet, but I needed to slow her down. So, I created a slow food feeder with an ice cube tray.
It is working like a charm. She complained initially, annoyed that she had to work for her food, but at least she know that's 3 minutes to finish her food instead of 39 seconds!
I feel like a genius.

Question to #Cat owners,
Sometimes I worry that #Apricat, being an indoor cat, doesn't get enough exposure to the sun, air and nature. Do you think a balcony with lots of plants is good enough?
Sometimes, in the morning, Apri will sunbathe on the table - the sun lights up the balcony then.
Ps: the balcony is on a very low floor.
