A small nit: what is the #apt / apt-cache equivalent to:
aptitude search '~Pnotification-daemon'
?
I think that there's a complex query language of some sort, but I didn't see it documented anywhere on my system. (come to think of it, ~P and co. are not that well documented. Only in the help text inside the full-screen #aptitude program, from what I remember).

That's an improvement as for apt-get install you always have to type the complete package name. And you first must search for the complete and correct name if you don't know it. So much more convenient 🤓
