Just got my first couple of #HomeAssistant devices configured, with a small integration: an #Aquara button toggling the lights on a #BigAssFans #HaikuL.

The HA service was deployed as a #container on a #RaspberryPi, with a #Sonoff #Zigbee dongle. It was a little cumbersome to begin with, but I got it working.

Step one, done!

I have to press the reset switch and reconnect it every time and it's annoying the heck out of me.

Have just driven myself mad XD

turned on light in office to see better to fix an issue with my desk. Went downstairs to get a tool.

turned on light to better see. Needed another tool. back downstairs.

Turned on light to see.. was sure I turned light on previously.

Went to toilet. Came back

Turned on light to see... aaah wait,

new #Aquara #PresenceDetection and a "turn lights off when office is empty" Automation on #HomeAssistant XD
