The assault weapons used at the horrific school shooting in #Nashville were bought LEGALLY by the shooter while she was under care for an emotional disorder, according to the Nashville PD.

The bill to Ban #AssaultWeapons passed in the House in July.

#POTUS is ready to sign the bill into law but 60 Senators are standing in the way.

I despair that the slaughter of 20 first graders + 6 educators couldn't sway these 60 senators holding out, nothing ever will.

Kudos to Sen. Chris Murphy who proposes to refuse to fund counties that aren’t following current gun control laws.
