Many Arabs are polyglot they just call them dialects and consider them all as Arabic.
I bet the differences between Iraqi and Moroccan Arabic, two dialects I can understand, are greater than those between Portuguese and Spanish.
Though most of the time I blend in Standard, Egyptian and Levantine to reach the most Arabs.
