Christiano's hurt at the job in the factory & falls into a coma. At his aunt's request, Andre goes to Christiano’s living quarters to fetch his belongings. There he finds a journal and starts reading it. And the real story begins... The film lyrically presents an everyman's story as Christiano travels around Brazil, trying to eke out the living. #Araby follows the tradition of social realism.
