Just getting to the end of week 4 of the construction project in the house, with probably 3 more to go.

#Aranet and #Corsi box are giving me more confidence, with masks for all.

However, once this is over I'm closing the door and not seeing another person for a month. Just way too many people for me.

Yes, previously we've seen levels approaching 2000ppm with just 2 people in the house, the fire running, and 3 windows open. It was unnerving.

I had purchased the #aranet because of the planned work, but was seriously shocked at how high our general CO2 levels were, prior to that even starting.

Currently keeping 4 windows open during the day. The gas heat doesn't run much at night (not sure if that's a positive or a negative.)

Happy to see lower numbers.

Continuing #CO2Monitor saga here. Turned off the pilot light for the ventless gas fireplace, and our usual 800-1000ppm readings first thing have dropped to 600s.

Workmen in the house, so trying to have 4-5 windows open. If I can live with temps in the 50's, sometimes I can get the level down to 450, which is outdoor ambient. Corsi box running too.

Met up with old work friends at a rooftop bar in town. It was a well ventilate venue, so I agreed, but I brought my #Aranet CO2 monitor to double check my #Covid exposure risk.

Readings were fine, roughly equivalent to meeting outside, but I still felt weird being around so many strangers.

Both neighbours have COVID.
