Now that I’ve finished my slog through Intellivision sports games of 1980 (I’m sure they’re a lot of fun in multiplayer) I can reward myself by starting on… #arcade games of 1980! This means breaking out my collection of overpriced mini arcade cabinets and now-retro-themselves #PS2 compilations, along with the odd entry from Hamster’s #ArcadeArchives series on Switch.

*To be fair, 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺: 1931 is when the streak was broken - that was released stateside a week late, alongside the regularly scheduled game that week. But there's no indication that's happening again here.

Weird glitch in TGM. The game was apparently still playing, but not updating the playfield. Not shown, due to the framerate of clips off a Switch: the solid-color squares briefly seen at the bottom where I'd cleared away the blocks were flashing on and off every frame.
Thanks to @yordansic for explaining how to get Switch clips off the Switch to get them here. They had a similar bug in the same game...
