I promised more pics of my #arcadestick! Built from scratch from acrylic plates, always in progress, and surprisingly reliable, the SaltFighter V5a is the closest i get to feeling like a shonen protagonist.

I built it from scratch in 2014 and have been iterating on it since, swapping out parts Ship of Theseus style.

With each new game i learn i add artwork of my main to a button. It's a symbol of where I've been. Who I've been.

I am squarely between playing on arcade stick and using leverless and it is the most uncomfortable point with controls for me. I really like leverless, I feel like I’m typing on a laptop. Stick is what I’ve known forever. But I CANNOT reliably DP on leverless and it suuucks.

With the announcement of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, I was finally encouraged to do the WASD conversion for my 8BitDo Arcade Stick.

I've had the kit for a while, but I needed to order some new keycaps.

Was very simple, can easily convert back if I want and works great. Now to break out Mario Maker 2 and get used to it before Wonder comes out later this year.

Wife wanted to swap out some buttons on her #ArcadeStick as she gets into #SF6 and also wanted me to add R3 and L3 buttons as well. That means soldering and crimping. Eughck.

The Specialized JoyStick was an arcade stick made by Asciiware for the Sony Playstation. It featured a Microswitched Joystick, and buttons for each of the button controls (square, circle, triangle, cross, L1, L2, R1 and R2). Each of these buttons also had adjustable turbo switches, which allowed up to 36 presses a second.

questa mattina ho moddato l'arcade stick della 8bitdo con parti Sanwa
l'unico problema è che lo stick 8Y vi arriva con un connettore 5 pin da una parte e cavi scoperti dall'altra e avete 2 strade
* comprate un connettore a parte (altri soldi e tempo)
* fate 5 saldature
se optate come me per la soluzione 2, vi basterà orientare lo stick col connettore a sx (tasti a sx) come in figura e saldare rispettando i colori come in figura

sto usando da un po' l'arcade stick 8bitdo e mi trovo benissimo ma ad un certo punto senti la chiamata -> modding Sanwa.
Qualcuno l'ha già fatto? Altrimenti faccio io da apripista appena mi arrivano le parti (mi spiace solo di non aver trovato i pulsanti concavi)

Cuando me compré el Street Fighter 30th Anniversary, no contaba con que acabaría comprando también este arcade stick para disfrutarlo a fondo.

Muy recomendable y personalizable. Solo tuve que comprar a parte una buena palanca (no redonda) y un restrictor octogonal (trae uno cuadrado).
