Love this figurehead. It's one of four similar ones on corbels of James Burnet Senior's 1870 Union Bank building on Saint Vincent Street in Glasgow. I particularly like the foliate crown, which is reminiscent of a foliate Green Man.

One of the nine 'Tontine Faces' in Saint Nicholas Garden at the Provand's Lordship in Glasgow.

These 18th Century sculptures were originally created for the old Glasgow Town Hall on Trongate and some date from as early as the 1730s.

The University of Glasgow Memorial Chapel was completed in 1929 and is dedicated to the memory of thoae who died in World War One. Its corbels are inhabited by all kinds of animals. These are just a sample of them.

A rather beautiful reflief sculpture under an Oriel Bay Window on a tenement on Firhill Street in Maryhill, Glasgow.

I love the fact that while all the bay windows in this block of tenements are decorated in this way, each one is unique.

Chariot-racing along Gordon Street in Glasgow.

Love this piece of sculpture and I've not seen anything like it elsewhere in Glasgow. As far as I can work out it's of Eos, the goddess of the dawn riding a quadriga (a chariot pulled by four horses) and bringing light to the new day.
