If you're seen my bio recently, which I know no one would have any reason to but it felt like a good rhetorical device to begin a post with, you'll notice I'm no longer an English teacher, but rather a CAD monkey for a USAmerican facade company. So now I can finally stop complaining about not having a job related to architecture, and start complaining about my job that is related with architecture!
On a less cynical note, it's one step closer to the kind of work I actually wanna do in life. So that's exciting

Also, re: the dry latrine, I hadn't shown you this, but it's so damn β¨thiccβ¨. So damn scrump-diddly-umptious. A real pound cake.
Hopefully it'll work in context lmao. I'll post the full iteration as soon as I get around to doing it, so one of these days

So in case you weren't aware, all Colombians drop off the face of the earth in December 7th and 8th. JK but I really didn't have it in me to do anything to post.
This would be the second iteration of that dry latrine I told all y'all about. The sink and bench are in the wrong places in the 3d drawing. Sigh.
Anyway, I'll be making comments for future reference in the replies before moving on to the next iteration

For the fine #TheoryTuesday that just passed (it is a thing now, only God can judge my sins) I bring you a book I've been slowly making my way through as part of my quest to design that goddamn rural dry latrine: The Bathroom by Kira Alexander.
I won't go into details because I have to be up in like 3 hours for work, maybe tomorrow I'll make a thread as a book report lite of sorts of the couple chapters I've read so far.

So this guy, who is supposedly a LICENCED architect, gave me hand-drawn plans of some old building and hired me to make them pretty in AutoCAD. Fine. He even gave me a rough digital base, therefore it shouldn't take too long. EXCEPT his hand drawing and the digital base Don't Match so not only do I have to heavily modify the digital ver. (meaning it'll take longer and I'll be paid later) but also figure out the Pure Geometric Nonsense in the discrepancies. Ugh.
