So many generations have been robbed of waiting by the radio with your player on record /and/ pause to tape your favourite songs on to a pseudo mix tape. Truly outrageous level experience robbery.

The references are out there re chip manfacture being less sustainable. USB is also less long lasting and requires biannual(?) usage to keep the data relatively intact.
But more practically, what is any given persons ratio of gifted DVDs versus gifted USBs?
How about ratio for reaccessed DVD backup of #archived thing versus USB?

I'm pretty happy that a lot of the initial #Twitter thread started by KF was captured. It was a fun bug and it'd be a shame to lose this bit of history.
