I've been reading of problems at Archives New Zealand through Vincent O'Malley (@vomalley Twitter). He recently reported "a member of the public, working unfunded in their spare time, has very quickly developed a much better search tool ... https://archway.howison.co.nz". It is neat, light, fast, and has an option to compare with the official search. I think Trove would benefit from a similar effort(s) using the API.

@ScottishGENES Further to what I just said, I have just checked, and #ArchivesNZ Collections is definitely back online

@ScottishGENES ArchivesNZ announced (a few hours ago) that their Collections search is available online again to all users. I haven't checked myself yet though. #ArchivesNZ #Genealogy
