Yesterday’s ice storm has melted away, leaving us with a “Pineapple Express”—gusty warm wind out of the SSW with heavy (for us) rain. How did the plants fare? Well as expected the giant calla lily (left photo) now looks like that watercress side dish you get at the Korean BBQ, and the Farfugium japonicum “tractor seat plant” is similarly done in.
