* un micro cravate par personne intervenante (2 modo et un.e invité.e donc 3 micro cravate)
* un micro sans fil

Le tout relié:
* soit à une carte son qui te permette d'enregistrer directement dans un ordi, par exemple sous #librazik dans #ardour
* soit une table enregistreuse de type Zoom L8

Man! #Ardour customer service is a clown show. Why do they even have the chat button?

I have ardour(6), I have an mp3, I want to clip a section of the mp3 - more precisely want to cut away large section of mp3 and just leave the end audio.

Anyone got any youtube or tutorial links that show me how to do that please?

Don't need an Ardour masterclass I just need to do this one thing.

@jannem Yeah, I've been trying to figure out the same thing, although for my desktop Linux machine instead of a RPi (presumably) Linux system.

I won't say that I've found the definitive answer, as all the answers I've found still seem complicated to me as a Linux lover who hasn't done much with the Linux sound / music stack.

That said, the simple*EST* option I've found so far seems to be #LMMS. It's still more complex than I'd like, but much less so than #Ardour #Rosegarden etc.

J'ai réalisé une vidéo qui est une solution pour les personnes souhaitant utiliser des VST non natifs sous #Linux et , qui plus est, sur des ordinateurs peu performants. D'expérience, c'est ce qui me semble le plus safe pour éviter certains plantage d'#Ardour avec #Carla + #Wine.

Désormais j'utilise Yabridge (avec Reaper, plus pratique pour moi) dont l’efficacité est assez impressionnante, mais Carla + Wine reste une super alternative quand #Yabridge ne fonctionne pas.

I've tried to make my audio interface (Tascam US-MKII) work on #Linux, but I gave up after #Ardour still popped errors in the log file.

Guess I have to wait to afford a new audio interface.

Also, would you recommend me a good audio interface (preferably in a budget tier) that works out of the box on Linux?

#ardour est un DAW très bon, développé par une équipe très compétente. Mais que je vais devoir laisser tomber, l'édition MIDI étant d'une lourdeur monumentale comparé à #reaper qui, grâce à #Yabridge permet l'usage de la plupart des VSTi sous Linux.

Software wie #Ardour implementierte übrigens erst nach diesem Zeitpunkt MP3-Export.

Das heißt, obwohl OGG/Vorbis patentfrei nutzbar war inkl. freie Implementierung, haben Hersteller von mobilen Playern darin überwiegend keinen Grund gesehen, das mitzunehmen.

Text editors like #Emacs, #Vim and the newer addition to the fold, #Helix, are somewhat bare & basic at first launch, but turn into productivity monsters as soon as you learn the keybindings and configure them to your needs (which they are built for).

I wish there was a DAW made in that image. Not saying anything bad about #Ardour, but e.g. changed keybindings can not be easily shared across machines (to my understanding at least) like with a text editor's dotfile.
