The morning coffee ritual is one of my favourite times of the day.
40g freshly ground coffee, 180g water, Areopress + Prismo (with a second metal filter), milk done in the Breville Milk Cafe that has no right conditioning milk as well as it does.
Press into a pre-warmed jug, 63g into an espresso glass, 63g into a latte glass, milk into latte glass.
Then the two perfect moments, first sip of the 'espresso', a little while later followed by the first sip of the latte.
Ahh I can face the humans after all today
I have been using my #areopress for my morning #coffee for years. This week I decided to mix it up and get myself a Fellow Prismo. I am pretty impressed. It is easier to brew than my preferred inverted method, I think there is a bit more of the oils in the coffee which gives it a thicker texture closer to espresso, but not a hint of crema.
Overall, I am pretty pleased with it and I reckon it will become my default brew mechanism
