One thing that really frustrates me is I see so many angry conversations that seem like they could have been avoided if people were just slightly less 'social media warrior' and more 'alright, I have this problem and I know what DOES NOT work for me, here's a list, let's try to find a different fix.' or stated honestly 'I just want to vent my frustration, please commiserate', or even just slightly different word choices.
Like, if you don't mean 'all men', how about not starting your post with 'Men do x'? There are a significant number of people in the population who are autistic and/or bad at social context, and it would take you a whopping TWO EXTRA WORDS to clarify what the heck you meant. 'Majority of' or 'Too many' works!
Neurotypicals get sooo fricking angry that other people aren't mind readers and read them literately. But reading things literately is what autistic people do. They also often like to spout facts.
