#jazzfest stop 4: back at the opera house, 98-year-old #MarshallAllen & 16-piece #arkestra play the living music of #SunRa. potent "angels & demons at play" tonight, deep bluesb sung by tara middleton, & a few solo turns by bassist tyler mitchell. also, in my 25 years seeing the arkestra (!?), i've somehow never seen one of their costumes accidentally turned into a saturnian disco ball. #jazz #nyc
