An 🇦🇹 class 1180 locomotive is seen here on display in July 2007 at 🇩🇪. These locos, built in the 1920s, were based in western for workings on the line. 1180.09 (the one on the photo) has been preserved.

content from a couple of years back: on board - from 🇦🇹 to 🇨🇭 in an WLAB AB30/P sleeper. This is the former “type P” #4538 after a substantial transformation, yet the old CIWL number is sill visible on the under-frame and it is engraved into the opening window.
The line is closed for works: this is why we travel, in August 2011, on a slightly northerly route via the 🇩🇪, hauled by two DB class 218 diesels.

Looking back at Sankt Anton am Arlberg early February 2022. Soon expected Davos-Klosters 2023 again by train with Austrian Nightjet night train great for shortski trips. Can’t wait.
